The Brumbies 21 narrowly defeated the Bulls 19 in a Super 12 match played at Bruce stadium Canberra.

In a match that the Brumbies were strongly favoured to win, the Bulls started strongly and lead going into the half time break 12-7.

The Brumbies were able to take the lead in the second half. Both teams scored three tries each. The difference came from conversions - the Brumbies converted all of their tries while the Bulls on managed two from three.

Brumbies - Tries: Mark Chisholm, Clyde Rathbone, Scott Fava. Conversions: Stephen Larkham (3).

Bulls - Tries: Jacques Cronje, Bryan Habana, Francois van Schouwenburg. Conversions: Derick Hougaard, Kennedy Tsimba
