Benoit Baby cited for headbutting O’Driscoll
France centre Benoit Baby has been cited for violent conduct during the 26-19 victory over Ireland in Dublin at the weekend.
Baby head butted Irish captain Brian O’Driscoll early in the second half of Saturday’s game. At the time he was given a warning by referee Tony Spreadbury and Ireland were awarded a penalty.
The 21 year old Baby will appear before the Six Nations disciplinary commission. If he is found guilty of the charge of violent conduct he faces a ban of between six weeks and a year.
