Blues drop Carlos Spencer
April 1st, 2005Carlos Spencer has been dropped from the Blues starting line up for their game against the Brumbies. The move had been widely rumour since the Blues’ inept performance against the Crusaders.
Former rugby league player, Tasesa Lavea, will wear the No 10 jersey.
The suspensions of lock Ali Williams, halfback David Gibson and midfielder Sam Tuitupou have also forced coach Peter Sloane to make other changes to the team.
Rookie Isa Nacewa will start at fullback, and with All Black No 15 Mils Muliaina moved to centre. Brad Mika comes in at lock to replace Williams. While Steve Devine, who has recovered from his hip flexor problems, will start at halfback.
Jerome Kaino returns following his suspension for the high tackle in the match against the Reds.
