Ireland beat England

Ireland defeated England by 19-13 at a match played in Dublin on Sunday.

Irish captain Brian O’Driscoll sealed the win when he scored Ireland’s only try 57 minutes into the match. At the time England were leading 13-12. The try and subsequent conversion gave Ireland a 6 point lead that they were able to defend against determined English attacking.

Ireland remain undefeated this years 6 nations championship. But face what is expected to be a tough match against France, followed by a game against Wales who are also currently undefeated.

England, the current world champions, have lost their three opening matches of the 6 nations
