Stephen Larkham back in Brumbies squad

Brumbies fly-half Steven Larkham has joined rejoined the touring team as they head to New Zealand for matches against the Blues and Highlanders.

Larkham missed the Brumbies two games in South Africa while he recovered from surgery to remove a cancerous growth.

Larkham will train with the team, but it still unclear if he will play against the Blues this weekend. Coach Laurie Fisher said “Stephen will train today and tomorrow but at this stage we’re not expecting him to be available until the second week of our tour, for the Highlanders match.”

Brumbies squad: Stirling Mortlock (captain), Mark Gerrard, Clyde Rathbone, Gene Fairbanks, Lenny Beckett, Matt Giteau, Matt Henjak, George Gregan, Joel Wilson, Sam Norton-Knight, Stephen Larkham, Scott Fava, George Smith, Owen Finegan, Mark Chisholm, Radike Samo, Adam Wallace-Harrison, Bill Young, Guy Shepherdson, Nic Henderson, Jeremy Paul, Tamaiti Horua, David Palavi.
